Milestone Thursday
I am now officially 24 weeks... I've been thinking about what to strive for during this Lenten Season... One of the things I'm going to work on is only being at the computer when the schedule says it's computer time not just any time I happen to not be doing something... I waste too much time sitting here... I didn't do any sewing this morning on the Round Robin because I spent the morning removing stitches from my opps... That was harder then I thought it was going to be... Those stitches were sooo tiny!!! I finished and now I can continue on with my project... I am up to 55 of 75 rows knitted on my blessings blanket so I have been busy with that... I'm going to try and make it to 75 and start the color change tonight if I can... I stopped a friends to drop off a compact she needed... I also ran to the store for the one thing forgotten... I also made a trip to the PO to mail a package... My oldest had a landmark session today in ST... It is the best session they have had in MONTHS!!! She had a student with her today and will be with her every Thursday... So, maybe he was showing off?!? Today he broke his timeout streak... Oh well... I'm going to try something with the schedule tonight... Hopefully it works...

Ash Wednesday
Today was a pretty good day... I went with my oldest to the 8 AM Ash Wednesday service... It was not easy at all but we made it through... He has gone the whole week so far with no time outs... Woo hoo!!! Sr. gave me a book on Autism while I was there... I made it to MACH I this morning... I only made it to half but I hadn't been in almost 10 weeks so that was an accomplishment in it's self... We talked about Lectio Divina Method... We read Isaiah Chapter 58 using the method... How appropriate it was for today since that passage is about Fasting... I baked a large batch of fish for the family to eat through out the day instead of heating the oven up over and over... I also whipped up some Tuna salad for today and Friday... I took a very much needed shower this morning... So, my morning was quite packed... My husband, the little ones and I all attended the noon Ash Wednesday service at the Cathedral downtown... We saw few of our friends from FM-CHE... Peanut had ST... I dropped off something at a friends and picked up my oldest... I knitted a bit more on my blessings blanket... I'm up to 40 of 75 rows done on the first block... I have 9 blocks to make to complete the blanket... It is so beautiful... I will share a PIC after I switch from green to yellow... I did a bit of sewing on my round robin... I didn't line up some pieces right and now I have to rip it out and cut new pieces... Opps... Happens to even the professionals... I hope to make it further tomorrow since I won't have all this running around to do in the morning... The schedule was off today but we still did well...

Money, Mail, Mall, and Many More things Monday
As you know I spent a large part of last week sick... I'm finally able to function without OTC medicine and wouldn't necessarily call what I did while taking medication functioning... I felt just awful and didn't do much of anything unless I had to... Life doesn't stop for a sick mom! Hopefully that is the last of the illiness for me... To make matters worse when I was almost over my cold yesterday I was helping my husband off to Mass since he was late and feel down our front steps outside... I twisted both ankles pretty bad and scraped up my lower right leg/ankle... So, needless to say despite the fact I felt almost well enough to leave the house I didn't go any where and sat with my legs/feet up all day... I was able to get up for a bit to make my husband Super Bowl snacks I had promised... I made Hot Wings, Chili/Cheese Dip, and Chili (that I had already made from scratch and just had to thaw and heat)... I will share Hot Wing Recipe and Chili/Cheese Dip recipes later... Today we filed our taxes... So, it is a very HAPPY day in our house... Despite we made more this year we still received a LARGER refund then last year... We were very surprised and happy... We have a lot of things we need to buy new refrigerator, new clothes washer, our oldest needs a mattress/box spring set, middle son needs a mattress since he is changing locations when #4 arrives, then of course there is like for everyone all those BILLS, BILLS, BILLS, we will be paying on and paying OFF!!! That is the exciting part... We will be kissing a few bills GOOD BYE!!! That's always a good feeling... I also finally made it to the store after wanting to go and buy some things for 4-5 days... That was a good feeling to be able to go out and do something for yourself! I also made a stop at the PO to mail some packages and monthly bills... Made a quick stop at the Mall to pay on my husband's store card before heading back east to pick up my oldest... He was kind of wild in ST today... Not sure why... I did some beginning of the month paper work to keep the homestead running... Our schedule is going well... Still need to work on a few areas but I'm pleased with the results so far...

Many Changes Monday
I will be sharing two new recipes (will update tomorrow)... One is for Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookie Bars and Homemade Bread... I don't know if it's the cold possible sinus infection or what but I'm just dragging and very emotional lately... We are having many issues at home right now that are related to things we own and it is just setting me into an emotional upset... Like issues with our refrigerator and washing machine... Normally it wouldn't bother me... Just feel so frustrated and that I can't get a handle on things... However things between my husband and I are good and no issues with the children... Just my house seems to be really giving me a hard time! Well, I sat down and wrote a 'Family Routine' for our family... It is broke into 15 minute increments... It has everything our family SHOULD accomplish in one day... I know we won't follow it every day exactly if any day but it is there to help us not sit around and stare at the TV or Computer for hours... It is also going to help me with myself care... Which is really been neglected for many years... I'm tired of being the poster child of exhaustion! I want to sleep a decent number of hours at night waking up refreshed... I want to be able to eat 3 meals a day instead of 1-2 on my lucky days... If I continue on the path I'm on it could only have one end result and that is disaster! Many prayers while I try to organize myself would be appreciated... I will try to update and let everyone know how it is going... My good friend and mentor Michelle helped me tweak it a bit... The routine really puts things into perspective! Nothing much else excited happened today...
